Mixed Media Assemblage Art

Taught by Ellen, using vintage and antique Ephemera, which is a fancy word for paper items (such as posters, advertisements and tickets) that were originally meant to be discarded after use but have since become collectibles. You will create three altered art playing cards along with a vintage pattern envelope to hold them. Perfect as a stand-alone piece or as an addition to a junk journal, this project is filled with layers of texture, history, and charm. You’ll work with a curated assortment of vintage papers and materials to include dictionary pages, maps, vintage photos, magazine pages, sewing patterns, game pieces and more.

Recommended for the more advanced crafter, this Workshop is approximately 3.5 hours long and Ellen & Team will be hands-on creating with you the entire time. Participants must be 16 years or older. All supplies are provided – just bring your creativity and willingness to have fun.
