15" Diameter Neon Clock from 1950's
Neon Clock From The 1950’s
Fresh back from Larry, the neon guru at Southpaw Signs is this vintage neon clock. We found it without neon and Larry updated it with the fabulous teal to match the case as well as went through it to confirm all is in great order and now it’s available for sale.
It measures approximately 15" in diameter and Larry said it was most likely made in Los Angeles by the American clock company. It's either a Lewis Clock or a Brew Baker. They were both made by American Clock company which closed down in the mid 1980s. He estimates it is from the 1950's and the face was modified somehow to include the four main numbers and dots for the others. Larry hasn't seen something like that before. It's a pretty neat clock! There are also ports on the bottom of the clock with the ability to add another piece of neon to go around the clock, but we opted to let the new owners decide on that. There's a pull switch on the left side to turn the neon on and off. We don’t see these very often and it’s now available in store and here online. We are happy to ship using an independent third party and if needed, will connect you with who we recommend or work with your contact. Shipping is not included in the price.
