Jenny created her first Victory Girl as a project in art therapy. Debilitated by anxiety and depression, she was given the assignment to create an art piece featuring a woman embracing her imperfections and rising above.
Jenny’s removes the sheen of the trophy head to reveal the natural color underneath. The wood bases are recycled blocks from old work tables that are sanded down to smooth them - yet still keeping the imperfection in the wood. Jenny’s partner Melissa hand-stamps recycled brass blanks with the “I” affirmations, which Jenny then attaches to the front. Each one is unique and signed by Jenny.
This one measures approximately 4" wide by 2" deep by 7" tall.
