Melissa created lots of different hand stamped options for our Jack's Helping Hand promotion! She stamped "Imagine" on cuffs, bracelets, and her classic key rings. 50% of the proceeds from these pieces go straight to the Jack's Helping Hand Organization.
Our Inspiration Behind This Promotion:
The Downtown SLO May Flower Initiative was created in May 2020 to help bring hope to the San Luis Obispo Community. It did just that – so much that it was brought back again this year.
This year we are partnered with Cartoonist Jerry Scott and when we discussed the theme of the windows, we all decided to come up with a way to integrate a very important Non-Profit, Jack’s Helping Hand. Jack’s Helping Hand was created to carry on the memory of one small boy, Jack Ready, who won the hearts of our community during his three year struggle with a rare form of brain cancer. Jack’s favorite song was Imagine by John Lennon, so in pure Jerry Scott fashion, he and his wife Kim and daughter Katy worked together to fill our front windows with pure joy – all themed around imagine with some Junk Girls flair!
In addition to the window art, we have come together to raffle Jerry Scott and Junk Girls products to raise money for this wonderful non-profit. This promotion starts on May 1 and ends on May 31. You do not need to be present to win. Shipping costs (Continental US only) will be paid for by us. 100% of the gross proceeds from the raffle ticket sales go to Jack's Helping Hand!
