"If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies."
A few words from Jenny K about this piece:
I created a series of these art pieces using old wood siding, which came off the oldest house in Cambria, California for the background. The story behind it goes: It was all painted white and when we pressure washed the dirt off, I noticed little specks of blue and blue-green paint underneath. I immediately thought the specks of color looked like sky & clouds and knew they needed to be in pieces of art. I stored them away until this idea came up. The butterfly is a vintage copper enameling blank and the quote is placed in an old file drawer label holder.
These measure about 4.5" wide, 7" tall and 1" thick and are ready to hang.
As you can see from the main photo, the paint colors and patterns will vary - we will choose one for you.
