The frame of this piece is an antique cash register drawer. The #3 is a piece of vintage wood letterpress type and I surrounded it with wood "Reglets", which are the spacers used in and around wood type to lock up the form and hold it for printing. All the color comes from the various inks used in many, many years of printing.
