This antique wood letterpress type #8 came out of a third-generation printing company that specialized in billboards, circus, carnival and rodeo graphics. They estimate the era at the 1930's (or earlier) and the red color is from the ink that was used in printing. A French cleat is attached for hanging. It is a very rare and special piece!
